Whew! That's over. Now, of course, this is not about me. This is about getting to know one another and chatting a bit. Please, introduce yourself, mingle, select a shot or snifter of the fine artisan tequilas we have arrayed on the bar (notice there is no salt or lemon provided; try tasting the product to discover why that is; this is not mescal we're dealing with, here), and converse! Please remember that textiles of any kind are not permitted in the hot tub, but are totally welcome, if optional, elsewhere about the premises.

witchofthedogs is proposing an LJ Room Drink Party for Wednesday, January 16. The party is one in which each participant opens a public post introducing themselves with a short paragraph and then invites everyone to "mingle" in the comments to the post. There is a master post here where everyone participating in the "party" is listed and the idea is that friends of friends or people on your flist wander through, mingle, talk, strike up conversation and meet people on the other flists.
